-Poet registration: $20.00 (Registration is reserved for poets who have NEVER COMPETED in a JFG Presents slam).

-Early bird admission: $30.00 (Will quickly sellout)

-Advance general admission: $40.00

-Reserved table for 2: $100.00

-Reserved table for 4: $200.00

12 poets.

This competition is for poets who have NEVER entered a JFG Presents slam.

$20 registration fee.

NO REFUNDS (Show up!)

3 rounds (please be prepared to perform at least 4 poems total in case of a tie in the final round)

Must use original poems.

No time limit per poem.

NO PROPS ALLOWED.

THERE IS NO CENSORSHIP. But please note, hate speech of ANY kind is NOT ALLOWED.

There will be 3 pre-selected judges. Judges will remain a secret until close to the event date.

Slam will be scored using the decimal system.Ex: 8.7

The highest score allowed is 10.

The first round will include all 12 poets.

The second round will consist of the top 6 highest scoring poets from round one, eliminating the bottom 6.

The third round will consist of the top 3 highest scoring poets from round 2, eliminating the bottom 3.

This slam is winner-takes-all and first place is $1,000. The prize will be paid electronically (cashapp, Zelle, etc) no later than a week from date of show.

All poets must arrive NO LATER than 7:30 pm, day of show. Late arrival = LOSING YOUR SPOT.

Slam starts at 8 pm SHARP.

Performers do not receive comp guests. All attendees that aren't competing must pay the required cover charge. This slam will sell out, so please make sure to let your friends, family, and support system know they need to purchase admission sooner than later.
