TAKE 5: 5 Jazz Greats perform 5 Jazz Legends returns to Aretha’s Jazz Café on May 5th at 8pm. Detroit area talent will have folks snapping their fingers, tapping their feet, and swaying to the beats and blends of timeless tunes.Nightclub darling, Paul King warms things up with favorites from Frank Sinatra. Allen Denard stays the course with complex songs of Mile Davis. Kenny Watson’s glottal stylings of Leon Thomas mesmerize, and few can emulate the late Kenny Burrell like renowned guitarist Perry Hughes. Joining this month’s lineup is Tony Camilletti honoring the music world’s beloved legend, Tony Bennett. Accompanying the entertainers are Scott Gwinnell on piano, Takashi Iio on upright bass, and Terrance Neal on drums.
