Doors open @ 8 PM/Showtime is 9 PM SHARP
$10 Advance General Admission / $15 Door Admission
Slam is open to women poets ages 21 & up

FIRST PLACE: $500 Cash (Paid immediately after the event ends).

SLAM RULES: 12 poets. Slam is open to women only (cis, trans, all women are welcome). $20 registration fee. NO REFUNDS (Show up!)

3 rounds
Must use original poems. 
Please be prepared to read 4 poems in case of a 3rd round tie breaker.
No time limit per poem. No props allowed.
THERE IS NO CENSORSHIP.
There will be 3 pre selected judges. Judges will remain a secret until event day.
Slam will be scored using the decimal system. Ex: 8.7. Highest score allowed is 10.
First round will include all 12 poets. Second round will consist of the top 8 highest scoring poets from round one, eliminating the bottom 4. Third round will consist of the top 3 highest scoring poets from round 2, eliminating the bottom 5.
All poets must arrive NO LATER than 7:30 PM, day of show. Late arrival = LOSING YOUR SPOT. Slam starts at 9PM SHARP.
Performers do not receive comp guests. All attendees that aren't competing must pay the required cover charge.
