This session hosted by the Scott Gwinnell Trio, has been a feature to both local and international jazz veterans as well as an educational learning tool to young musicians of both university and high school ages. Many of the students in Music Hall's vocal jazz program have made their debut on the Aretha's Jazz Cafe stage. 

It's time for us to celebrate our third anniversary and we invite you to join our party between 6-9pm. There will be guest artists, food, drinks, and some of the best jazz in Detroit. There is no cover; come to listen, play, eat, drink, or all of the above. Jazz is America's indigenous music and Detroit played both a large part in its history yet also in the 21st century. Come and hear both young and veteran musicians jam together in harmony at one of Detroit's hottest jazz clubs.
