Nate Topo has established himself as a well-known artist in the Detroit music community. He has spent the past few years organizing jam sessions in Detroit's Eastern Market and Cass Corridor and has welcomed special guests, including Martha Reeves and James Carter. James even gave him the nickname “Mr. True-Tone."
Nate recently released his debut album, "Time of Monsters," with Detroit Jazz masters Ralphe Armstrong, Gayelynn McKinney, Vincent Chandler, Chuck Newsome, and others. The project features compositions inspired by both Detroit's Motown legacy and its traditional Jazz scene.
