Jerry Vile, best known as the Publisher/Editor of the legendary 90's monthly, Orbit Magazine and creator of The Dirty Show, the world's best attended erotic art exhibition, will be auctioning off his historic and now iconic, "Crisco Fist" public sculptural installation/integration at Jazz Cafe on Wednesday, August 14th, 6 - 9 PM to benefit the city of Detroit or it's favorite charity.
 
The oversized large-scale depiction of a can of Crisco vegetable shortening was integrated underneath the Joe Louis bronze sculpture created by Robert Graham as a social/political commentary by Mr. Vile on the city's recent slide into bankruptcy, offering it to the city as a donation to do as it seen fit.
